Week #45

9-9-13

I am having sooo much fun right now Emily!!!!!! Having one of your best friends as your comp is the best!!! Pretty much all of my friends are leaving this change! Elder Uribe, Elder Collins and Elder Hernandez! It sucks Emily!!!! but I still have a few good friends here in la mission.. I got to go to Iquitos on Tuesday and we came back Thursday.  We had our zone leader conference it was super funny because alllll of the zone leaders hate me.  The thing is that Elder Uribe was the assistant to the president and he had to brunt them and chew them out all the time. So they all hate him and, well, I’m his comp and I’m a lot like he is so they don’t like me either. I still have a few really good friends in the mission. Also we have a family to baptize. They are Lauriano and Antonia.  I think I told you about them.  They are super cool. They came to church this week and loved it.  They are going to get married and baptized the 28^th.  I love our ward. They are super small but super cool and my ward mission leader is cool. He doesn’t have legs, but we just put him in his wheel chair and push him all day. As far as me- Well, I’m good.  Working Hard.  

Week #44

9-2-13

Holy Cow! I got the best change that you can ever get in the mission! No joke! Emily I am sooooooo surprised that it worked out sooooooo freaking perfect this change!!!!! Hahahahahahahhahahaa I will tell you why!!!! Hahahahaha first, I told you about Cristian Uribe being my best friend in the mission right?... well this is his last change in the mission and the president let him choose who he wanted and he chose me!!!!!!!! And they changed me to a place called Pucallpa... not just as a normal missionary, but also as a zone leader!!! And the zone leader of a brand new zone!! Hahahaha we are the first missionaries in this city and my area is brand new!!!!!! It’s soooo freaking coooool Emily it’s no joke like a dream!! I’m soooo happy with where I am at right now!!!! hahahahahahaha but holy cow it’s soo much more work!! for example, I had to do all of the forms today and now I only have 10 min to write you!!!! Next week we are going to come mas temprano to the Internet!!!!!! I am going to baptize and marry a family of 80 year olds!! they have been living together for like 60 years!!! hahahahahaha Lauriano and Antonia!!!! They are soooo freaking cute! 

Week #43

8-26-13

I have really little time so I will tell you about my week!!! I baptized!!!!!! Again!!!! Now in total I have 12 baptisms!! Well really only 6 that count for me.  There are 6 that I taught and interviewed and did everything with, but they changed me from that area in Lima the day before they got baptized. So I still count them as mine!!!!  

This weekend I baptized a guy named Cristian!! He is the tattoo artist!!!!!! He is super cool and was like 100% ready to change his life!! Now I have 3 more baptismal dates for the 21 of Sep.!!!!! One guy name Rodolfo and two brothers named Julio and Frank!!!!!! Hahahaha They are all super cool and are all going to the church!!!!! I love baptizing people!! It is such a cool feeling to know that someone has changed because of the spirit that we were able bring to them. You’re going to hate me when I get home because I am going to still want to convert all of my friends! hahaha hahahaha jkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjk but seriously I love baptizing!!! There are very few things I love more then baptising... first. My smoking hot girlfriend!!!!!!!!!!!! Second... hunting and fishing!!!!!!! Third horses and trucks!!! And 4th is dogs!!!!!! Just kidding not more at all, but I do miss those things! This girl in my district just cut her finger really bad so I have to take her to the hospital. Love You!

Week #42

8-19-13

I am getting a fat belly! I still do all my sit ups in the morning... well, almost every morning!! I am going to take it more serious now and I am going to start running again!!!! The brother of my companion was here for a little while for work so I got to meet him and that was cool. He brought me all kinds of stuff from Chile!! My companion is having a hard time. I am trying to learn to be more patient, so hopefully I will be able to get better with that.  

Week #41

Well I will start by answering your question that is in bold because you always tell me that I never respond to your questions!!!! Hahahahahaha: the mosquitos here never stop biting!!! No joke Emily!! They bite me when I’m walking when I’m sleeping when I’m eating when I’m pooping!!!!! I hate it!! No I don’t sleep with a net!! It is super hot with the net!!

I still visit that couple with the guy is dying pretty much every day!! He cries every time!!!! At first when I asked him how he was he told me bad because his whole body hurt and his legs don’t work but I explained that the bodies that all of us have get old and worn out and bad things can happen to them. I explained that when I ask him how he is doing, I am asking how his faith and spirit are, not his physical body. He started crying again and now every time I ask him how he is he says he is amazing and that he has never been better.  I don’t cry when I’m with them but every time I leave their house I cry while I walk.  They are so inspiring.
