Week #40

August 5^th, 2013

There are so many mosquitos here and I have sooooooo many bites that I am just used to it.  I don’t know how much I have really told you about the jungle but it is super hard core here!!!! Sometimes I have to cross-rivers like up to my knees to get to some houses and sometimes it rains soooo hard you can’t even see 2 feet in front of you!!! My comp calls me the robo cop because he said that nothing ever stops me!!!!! hahahahahahahaha I love being a missionary in the jungle!!! I hope you are reading your scriptures and going to the temple and praying for me!!!!!! hahahahha I need all the help I can get!! If you want to, you can pray for my investigators!!! Joaho and Hans!! They both have a date to be baptized the 24th of august!

Week #39

7-29-13

Well this week was pretty low key for me!!! I am focusing a lot on training our branch, more than just on teaching!!!! Our members here suck but it is really starting to work!!!! I love the people here!! They do everything I tell them to!! They are super humble!!!! I am working hard! Sorry I barely have any time this week!

Week #38

7-22-13

Hey!!!!!!

My week was good!! I baptized 3 people!!!! Two boys: Mario, 16 years old and Oscar, 14 years old!!! Then my comp baptized their sister Marylou, 8 years old!!!! It was so cool!! Now we are going to baptize a family that  I found yesterday!! They don’t know that I will baptize them, but I am going to!!! No joke!!! Other than that, we also had our intervistas with the president of the mission! He told me that I get talked about a lot in the mission!! He said that he has heard i am a really really good missionary! so that was cool!!! and it made me feel good!!! Also, the assistants have been sleeping at our house every day for like the whole week.  They inspected our house and we passed (:  Don’t forget to go to the temple and Pray!

Still Hasn't Changed!

This is part of a blog entry from a Sister Simonson in Christian's mission about him this week:
"Another brother had a bunch of leftover cake from a birthday and he gave us each a HUGE slice. I ate it happily, and when he saw how happy I was he went into the kitchen to get more. While he was in the kitchen, my companion looked at me with a panic and told me she was sick to her stomach and couldn't eat it. She started whispering "Eat Gringa, eat, eat eat!" So, I somehow downed her slice in about two minutes. Then, the Brother returned with my plate that had 3 more HUGE slices of this cake. It was super rich and I thought I would puke...and then he brought us out two cups each of hot chocolate milk. The second we left we just burst out laughing and I thought I would puke, but I kept it down."

Week #37

7-15-13

I tried to put all my pictures but it wouldn’t let me!! It said that the card was full!!  But hey save all the stuff on you computer and then send me the card blank please!!!! oh and yeah I found my memory card-the one with 32 gigs!!! So I didn’t loose my pictures!!!! i have all of them!! I set a goal to take more pictures because i know how much you guys like them and I will want them after my mission!!!!!  Well, this week has been pretty good!!!! We have 2 people who are going to get baptized this week!!!! Two kids!! They are both really cool!!!! I bought this thing called a trompo!! Which are like these spinning tops!!! and they battle them here and lets just say i have being bringing my trompo with me everyday and challenging little kids in the streets!! but they always kick my butt!!!!! they are trompo masters!!!!!!!! then i met this couple today who are both pretty old!! and i fell in love with them!!!!! no joke!!!!!! the husband has 3 months to live beacuse his cancer is so bad!!! and she fell down the stairs three days ago!!!!! and broke her arm and then had o have 10 stiches in her chin!!!!! i cryed when he started talking about her! he is so in love with his wife all beat us!! and knowing that he is dying he  just thinks about her!!!! and she just thinks abbout hi!! and that yi how they pass they days!!!!!! just being in love!!!!!! hahahahah they are soooo cool!!!!! i have spent a lot of time this week getting to know all the members in my branch!!! but theere are so many who dont want to have anytig to do with the church1!!! they hate the mormons!! and then on the other hand the are some members who are amazing!!!!! our branch president is sooooo cool!!! preident Jellwel!!! and io dont know the new mission presdent yet but i will this week
