Christian is doing well! He says that everything is the same there, and the routine stays the same, so there isn't much new news. Christmas was good there, and he misses everyone. He is excited to leave, because his Visa finally came! He leaves for Peru January 7th, and will skip the Peru MTC, because he will have done the whole 9 weeks in Provo. He said that he cannot wait to get out there, and the MTC is feeling really repetitive. He also ran into an Elder from Nevada and sent pictures this week.

Week 5 and Week 6!
Christian is still in the Provo MTC! He is still the zone leader, and he is waiting on his Visa. He is getting very anxious to get out and teach real people, and have a new environment. If his Visa is not here in the next 3 weeks, then he will be put into a mission in the States, until his Visa is approved and he can go to Peru.
"My Spanish is still getting better, but I am still the worst in my class! I am so ready to get out of here. I love the spirit though. I switched companions this week multiple times. Elder Moody wasn't told about his flight out, so we got woken up to a knock on the door at like 3 am, and he had to get ready super fast and leave, so since then I have been assigned to multiple different companions. Now my companion is leaving for Mexico, and I am getting a new one. He is one of the people who I dumped snow on while they were in the bathroom, so I don't think he likes me that much, so we will see how it goes! I miss everyone though, but I am happy here and it is a good place to be!"

Week #4
Christian has been out a month today! He is still waiting on his Visa, so for a while longer, he will be at the Provo MTC. He will not be able to receive packages in the Peruvian MTC, so if anyone needs to send anything or wants to for Christmas, then sending it sooner would be the best!
"I am used to it here now, so I am not upset about being stuck here. But, I really just want to be able to leave and teach real people so badly I can't even tell you. I don't know when I am even leaving though, it is all still up in the air. I keep getting better at spanish I work so hard studying it. I had a really cool experience this week, because we were listening to a talk, and I understood all of it without even trying, and then after my companion was talking about how we have to understand everything in Spanish, and I realized the talk was in Spanish. I didn't believe him, but he was right, and I had understood it all. I thought that was pretty sweet! Also, I was praying that I will be able to know what to do to help the men in my zone, since I am the zone leader, and right when I was done praying, I looked at the ground and one of the men in my zone's nametag was on the ground. It was a small thing, but I was able to give it to him, so he didn't stress about finding it. It just seemed like a reaffirmation that I am where I am supposed to be, if that makes sense. I love the spirit that is here so much. Even though I understood the talk in Spanish, I still can't speak it that well, but It is getting there!"

Week #3
Christian is doing great! "My visa got delayed. Actually most of the people in my district have had their visa's delayed. So, I won't know for a while what exactly is happening, but I will most likely end up here for the next 9 weeks, instead of switching to the Peru MTC, and then there is a chance that I will have to be temporarily reassigned to the States until my Visa is ready. My spanish is getting a lot better. I can understand most everything that people say to me, but I still have a hard time speaking back. We had to teach a lesson this week in Spanish and my companion spoke most of the time because I could only really pray and bear my testimony in spanish. It is really frustrating. My companion sprained his ankle, so I have to carry him up a lot of stairs! It is so busy here I hardly have any time to write! I have had some cool experiences lately though with teaching the fake investigators. I really cannot wait until I can teach real people."
