Hahaha and we have another one for this next week and another one for the week after and the week after!! I am having a blast!!! The people here are freaking amazing!! No joke! They are sooooo freaking cool!! I am soooo grateful for this area!! My comps name is elder Turley from West Valley Utah! He is freaking sweet!! Him and I get along well!! He is SUPER Mormon!! Hahahaha but he is a good missionary!! Hahahahaha but I’m pretty sure he will get changed today!!! I think that I will get another new missionary to train!!! At least that’s what I want!! Hahha oh yeah and my house here is pretty normal for the jungle! It’s a brick house but we only have concrete floors and two rooms!!! Hahaha and cold water, which I hate! Hahaha and they turn the water off at 9 in the morning so it you have to crap you have to go across the street to the outhouse! Hahahahaha and then they turn it back on in the night!! Hahahaha freaking suck!!!!

Week #31!

Week #31: June 10, 2013

I’m having so much fun in my new area!! I am in Tarapoto Peru!! It is pure freaking jungle!!! We have one paved road in my whole area!! and the people here are soooo freaking nice!! It’s like we have to turn people down because so many people try to invite us into their houses!! Hahaa I think it has a lot to do with that we are both gringos! Me and my comp! So everyone wants to talk to us!! hahaha they are a crack up here!! And their way of talking is sooooooo freaking funny!!!! Even their kids talk with a super strong accent! They are soo funny!!! But I have seen a lot of naked women! There is a lot of porn here! I have seen way more porn on my mission then ever before in the States! I hate it and I just don’t look at it but it’s freaking everywhere! The people here are soo desensitized!! So we have two people with baptism dates. One is Leta Vela and she is pretty cool but didn’t come to church and we don’t know why! and the others are Jaime and Raid who we are going to marry them on the 21st and baptize them on the 22nd, but they didn’t come to church either so we have to find them!!! Freaking punks! I have called him every day and gone to his house every night for the last three days to find the people but no luck! Their house is a tarp and some sticks that hold it up! No joke they live in a house made of trash!! It’s sad! But they are happy so I guess it’s all good!! We are also teaching a new family of Thomas and Lidia who are 89 and 82 years old!! They can’t hear very well so we have to shout and then what made it worse is that it was raining so I had to go like right next to them and shout right into their ears!! But they want to be baptized!! There are a few more people too that are really cool but I don’t have time to write about all of them!! Hahahahaha We should be baptizing this Saturday so that will be cool!!!!

Week #30!

Week #30: June 3rd, 2013

So there was no email update about Christian's week, but I was able to find out the reason he didn't email is because he was given a change of assignment and transferred to the jungle.  He flew out today! The mission was split a couple of months ago.  So as far as I know, that means he is now a part of the Iquitos Peru Mission.  I will keep you all posted though! He was very excited about getting called to the jungle!!!!

Update: June 4th, 2013: It is soooo beautiful here!!! My aria is nuts!! It’s hard core jungle!! There is one paved road and the rest is dirt! and it rains like every 10 min hahahahahah its soooooo pretty!!!! You will freaking love it here!!! im sooo in love with it here!! I’m still more in love with you so don’t worry!!! hahaha I only have 1 day here so I don’t know many people but the people that I do know are super friendly!! and super loving and SUPER poor!! They have like nothing here!! no jooke they are soooo humble!!! i know im in the right place!!!!!

Weel #29 (:

Week #29: May 27, 2013

Hey!!!!
I had a freaking amazing week to Emi !!!! So much happened!! The biggest this is that I finally baptized!!! hahahahahaha Gisel finally got baptized and I have other people who are going to get baptized! I will just say it was freaking amazing to baptize her! I felt like freaking superman when she got up to bear her testimony and called me an angel and said how I was the only missionary who never gave up on her and how grateful she was!  It was pretty damn cool!!! The other really big thing that happened to me this week is that I am training!! They gave me a brand new missionary to teach and I am the first gringo in 30 years to train another gringo!! His name is elder Kramer! Nathan I think is his first name! The poor kid is suffering! I still have Elder Maldonado too and I am working them both to the bone! Poor Elder Kramer has like never been away from his house! He is from Utah and speaks noooooo Spanish at all! Just like when I started! hahaha Yesterday we went back to the house after lunch so Elder Maldonado could crap and the poor Elder Kramer was having a hard time saying that it was too hard and that he was thinking about going home so I gave in and spoke to him in English and we read in Alma 24 where it talks about having patience and how he just needed to be more patient with himself and he calmed down and we went back to work, but now his problem is that his feet hurt him pretty bad! haha poor kid! He will learn fast!! Other than that we have just been working like crazy! I have other people who will get baptized the 8th and the 15th so it is all-good!! I am having a blast and I am feeling way more dedicated as a missionary!!
Love, Christian!!
